Effective September 27, 2026
Mexican Train (the "app") is made by Robert Rhatigan Jr, an individual developer. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we only collect what the app needs to work, and we never sell your information or use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and, if you give one, your first name. If you sign in with Google on the website, we receive your name and email from Google.
- Game data: the player names you enter, round scores, winners and dates, so you can resume games and see your history.
- Domino photos: photos you take to count tiles, and the reference photo of your own set if you save one on the My Dominoes screen.
We don't collect your location, contacts or any advertising identifiers, and the app has no ads or third-party tracking.
How photos are used
When you use the camera to count tiles, the photo is sent to AI services from Google (Gemini) and OpenAI, through Lovable's AI gateway, to identify the dominoes in it. The app asks for your permission before the first photo is sent. Photos taken for counting aren't stored by the app. Your saved reference photo is stored with your account until you replace it or delete your account.
How we use your information
- To sign you in and keep your games and settings tied to your account.
- To count tiles from your photos.
- To reply if you contact us for support.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored on Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase), with the website hosted on Cloudflare. It's protected so only your signed-in account can read your games and photos.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time: sign in, then tap Delete account at the bottom of the home screen. This permanently removes your account, game history and saved photo. You can also delete individual games from Game History, or email us and we'll delete your account for you.
Children
The app isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
